Food Security: Gov.Oyebanji Launches Youth Agriculture Initiative
Determined to achieve his prosperity for all mantra through food security and surplus, Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji has launched the “YSJ Bring Back The Youth in Agric” project.
Speaking at the launch in Oke Ako, Governor Oyebanji distributed farming equipment and seedlings to young farmers, stressed his administration’s commitment to transforming Ekiti State’s agricultural landscape.
Governor Oyebanji highlighted that the initiative is part of a broader agricultural revolution aimed at supporting farmers extensively.
He noted that the project is designed to boost the local economy, create employment opportunities, and ensure that every household in Ekiti has access to sufficient food.
The Governor reiterated his vision of a thriving, food-secure Ekiti, emphasizing that empowering youth in agriculture is central to driving the state’s economic growth forward.
