The council of the institute of Management Consultants (IMC-Nigeria) has confered an award of fellowship and Certified Management Consultants on an Ikere Ekiti son, Lugard Gbenga Agbomoagan.
In a letter signed by the Director General of the Institute, Prof David Iomem, the fellowship which was not an honorary was in recognition of Agbomoagan’s knowledge and experience in his field of professional calling.
The institute which is the highest qualification of any consultant globally believes the Ikere Ekiti son can add value to what they have been doing over the years with his wealth of experience.
According to the letter, the institute also expressed its readiness to making Agbomoagan’s professional knowledge available to the society through the platform of management consultancy.
The letter reads:
“This is the highest qualification of any consultant globally and it is reciprocally recognized in over 50 countries around the world. This is the highest grade of the Institute’s Membership and is reserved for accomplished professionals of his level and status in the profession.”
“Lugard Gbenga Agbomoagan is well and appropriately educated and qualified in his field of professional calling. He has ample experience that makes him suitable to add Management Consultancy as a platform to offer his knowledge and expertise as a commodity in the knowledge economy. So, the Institute of Management Consultants is extending this humble invitation to him to consider the possibility of becoming a full professional member of the Institute.” The letter added
In his reaction, the sesoned legal practitioner and cross border practice advocate, Lugard Gbenga Agbomoagan, accepted the prestigious conferment just as he was preparing for an international assignment in the Hague, The Netherlands.
He has once again distinguished himself on the international stage as he served as a judge at the just concluded International Criminal Court Moot, the final oral rounds were held in the International Criminal Court in The Hague, The Netherlands.
This is not the first time that Lugard Gbenga Agbomoagan has been invited to judge at the international level, He has previously been among the Panel of Evaluators for the International Criminal Court Moot, his wealth of experience and expertise in international law has made him a sought-after figure in the legal community.
The International Criminal Court Moot Court is a simulation of the proceedings of the International Criminal Court. It serves as a platform for aspiring lawyers to gain practical experience and understanding of the workings of the court.
The competition brings together law students from various institutions around the world to participate in a simulated trial based on a hypothetical case.
