The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Christian Religion Affairs, Pastor Kunle Kolade, has called on the Christian community in Ekiti State to play a more active role in governance. During a courtesy visit to Pastor Ogunniyi, the newly posted state overseer of the Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor Kolade highlighted Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s commitment to the welfare of Christians, noting that Oyebanji is the first governor in the state to prioritize their needs.

Pastor Kolade detailed the governor’s achievements since taking office, emphasizing the importance of prayers and support from the Christian community in aiding these successes. He pointed out that the governor’s focus on Christian welfare demonstrates a unique and commendable dedication to inclusive governance.

In response, Pastor Ogunniyi praised the impressive work done by Governor Oyebanji in a short period but expressed disappointment that these achievements have not received adequate recognition. He stressed the importance of highlighting and supporting the positive developments in the state.
