Fountain Int’l High School Partners ADOLFRIC on Adolescent Clinic

... New Clinic to Offer Reproductive Health Services , General Healthcare to Students

Fountain International High School in Ado-Ekiti, has announced collaboration with the Adolescent Friendly Research Initiative and Care (ADOLFRIC) to establish an Adolescent Friendly Clinic, which is nearing completion.

The school’s management stated that the partnership aims to provide age-appropriate reproductive health information, education, and care to in-school adolescents at the institution and neighboring schools.

The clinic according to the school will also address the general health needs of students, ensuring their overall well-being. By bringing essential health services to their doorstep, the initiative strives to empower adolescents with knowledge and access to healthcare, strengthening a healthier and more informed student community.

However,ADOLFRIC in a press release by the Director of Corporate Affairs and Social Responsibility Mr.Tosin Olowo appreciated the efforts of the Commissioner for Health and Human Services, Dr. Filani Oyebanji,for institutionalizing Adolescent Friendly Healthcare services in Ekiti’s secondary healthcare facilities.

ADOLFRIC also acknowledged the Ekiti State Government for its commitment to equity and balanced governance, particularly in promoting synergy between Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and the government.

ADOLFRIC thereafter solicited support to complete and equip the ongoing clinic project and expressed hopes to replicate similar facilities in other public schools across Ekiti State.
