In a demonstration of Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s commitment to teamwork and community development, Hon. Oluwafemi Abimbola Awe, the Commissioner for the Ministry of Rural and Community Development held a pivotal meeting on Monday anchored by the permanent Secretary of the ministry Mr.Ojo Babatope with senior special assistants and special assistants. The focus was on advancing the ministry’s mission.
Hon. Awe stressed the governor’s vision for robust community development and highlighted the significant investments in rural areas, including the opening up of farmsteads across the state. He emphasized the importance of thew appointees’ roles in representing their constituencies and promoting the governor’s initiatives effectively.
Awe stated that to move the ministry forward, all activities must align with Governor Oyebanji’s administration’s goals, such as opening rural roads, constructing culverts, building healthcare facilities, drilling boreholes, and developing markets to improve life for rural dwellers.
He urged the appointees to remain vigilant to challenges within their communities and report promptly for swift action, ensuring the justification of substantial community investments.
