Hon.Sikiru Adekunle, councilor Igede Ward B has issued a rebuttal in response to a recent article by Sahara Reporters attacking the character and administration of Governor Biodun Oyebanji (BAO). Adekunle called the piece a baseless attempt to tarnish the Governor’s reputation, arguing that it is filled with inaccuracies, misinformation, and outright lies.
He suggested that the authors have a sinister agenda to discredit Oyebanji and his administration.
Adekunle urged the public to disregard the unfounded attack and instead focus on the tangible achievements of the Oyebanji administration.
He highlighted the Governor’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people, noting significant accomplishments in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic empowerment. According to Hon.Adekunle, the efforts have created jobs, attracted investors, and enhanced the state’s reputation as a hub for business and tourism.
He emphasized that the public should not be swayed by Sahara Reporters’ attempts to distract them from the progress made under Oyebanji’s leadership.
Adekunle encouraged continued support and prayers for the Governor, who he said is working tirelessly to build a better future for the state. He stressed the importance of recognizing state development as a collective responsibility and promoting the truth to combat falsehood.
Hon.Adekunle asserted that the truth will prevail and that the people of the state will not be deceived by what he described as vicious propaganda. He affirmed that support for Governor Oyebanji and his administration remains strong as they strive for a brighter future for the state.
