Damilola Adeyeye showcased his much-hyped talents for Green Lock FC in the Nationwide League One, Division 1, contributing significantly to the team’s attacking prowess.
The attacker, who also excels in central midfield, was a handful for opposing defences during the league games at NLO’s Area 3 centre, lighting up matches with his sparkling talents, mazy runs, intelligent positioning, astute link-up play, as well as creativity, which resulted in 8 goals and 2 assists.
Adeyeye’s eight goals accounted for more than 40% of the squad’s total, but the youngster, who is also a leader on the Green Lock FC team, is looking onto the next step. He indicated that the club will use the lessons learned from their adventure to pursue promotion next season.
He also praised his teammates and coaches as sources of motivation for his remarkable campaign, which helped Green Lock FC finish fourth in Area 3 centre of the NLO division 1, earning praises for their quality play.
