Hon. Femi Bamisile, a member of the House of Representatives, has implored the federal government to swiftly initiate the dualization of the Ado-Ijan-Ikare road project, emphasizing its crucial role in alleviating the plight of citizens.
The road, vital for connecting various state, federal, and private institutions in the state capital, has deteriorated significantly, posing risks to motorists and commuters. Hon. Bamisile stressed that the completion of the dualization project would not only enhance transportation but also unlock Ekiti’s economic and investment potentials.
In a statement released in Abuja and disseminated to journalists in Ado Ekiti, Hon. Bamisile lauded Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s relentless efforts in advocating for the commencement of the project, emphasizing the governor’s empathy for residents enduring the daily challenges posed by the dilapidated road.
Expressing concern over the road’s current hazardous condition, Hon. Bamisile emphasized the imperative of prioritizing the safety of Nigerians. He credited President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for approving the road’s dualization, highlighting the transformative impact it would have on the region’s connectivity and economic growth.
Highlighting the significance of the road for his constituents in Ayekire Local Government, known for its agricultural contributions to Ekiti’s economy, Hon.
