Ekiti L-PRES Project Coordinator Adedipe,salutes commitment of PIU Members towards achieving greater output in Livestock Productivity

The State Livestock Productivity & Resilience Support Project ( L-PRES) Coordinator, Mr. Olayinka Adedipe has commended members of the State Project Implementation Unit ( PIU) for their support, teamwork spirit, hardwork, diligence and sacrifice towards achieving success within the last couple of months of implementing L-PRES in the State.

Speaking in Ado Ekiti, while addressing the Project Implementation Unit Members at a forum organized to mark 2024 Workers’ Day Celebration, Mr Adedipe saluted the PIUM for working in line with the Project Development Objective (PDO). He noted that the efforts of the PIUM is largely responsible for the number of achievements recorded in L-PRES Project in the State.

According to Adedipe, ”There is dignity in labour, he admonish members to be dedicated and committed to the project work plan and work assiduously for the success of the project in Ekiti State.

He therefore enjoined PIU Members to imbibe the culture of productivity, as the foundation and baseline for provision of satisfactory goods and services and wealth creation.

The State Project Coordinator thanked the Governor of Ekiti State Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for ensuring that Ekiti State is among the first few States that were on- boarded to participated the project.

Mr Adedipe urged the PIU Members to work in tandem with agricultural policy of Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s led administration particularly in the livestock subsector.

He said that L-PRES is to reposition our priority livestock value chains, mitigate farmers and herders clashes and build the resilience of women and youth in animal Agriculture.

In their responses, the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, Mr.Tajudden Odewale and Value Chain Officer, Mrs. Adenike Omoleye on behalf of others, promised to record more success in the coming months. The PIU members thanked the Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Hon. Ebenezer Boluwade whom they described as a good leader that handles matters with topmost maturity and professionalism
