The Ekiti State (Football) Referees Council (EKSFRC) under her Acting Chairman; SP. Onilearo Ayodele Kayode, will continue her recruitment of promising youth into the Ekiti Football Referees Council under the Nigeria Referees Association (NRA)
As part of efforts of EKSFRC to discover potentials from the grassroots, the Council has commenced scouting exercise in conjuction with Local Football Councils (LFCs) across the 16LGAs under the administration of the Ekiti State Football Association Chairman, Aare Mayegun Oluwole Oloworemo.
The exercise will recruit agile and highly intelligent youth both male and female into the Football Referee. The exercise kicked off at Ijero LG on Saturday 30th March 2024 wherein RITs recruited were put on technical training, field exercise and class room lectures on the FIFA Laws of the Game.
The recruitment train championed by the Training Wing of EKSFRC will move to *Oye Local Government on Saturday 13th April, 2024* at the Federal University of Oye (FUOYE) Football field, Oye Ekiti at exactly 10:00am.
Members of the public, particularly agile youths, are encouraged to troup out to take advantage of the golden opportunity to become an umpire of the round leather game. Philanthropist and football lovers are also welcomed to support young talents and EKSFRC in bringing out the peak from Ekiti State Grassroots. The exercise will also continue in other LGs in due course.
