In an effort towards strengthening the monitoring efforts, the Independent Project Monitoring Office (IPMO) recently convened a productive session led by Hon Femi Ajayi, the Special Adviser to the Governor on IPMO on Thursday.
The gathering, which took place in Ado Ekiti, saw the unveiling of three Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) representing the Governor across the State’s Senatorial Districts.
Attended by key stakeholders including the Administrative Secretary, Mr. Segun Adebayo, and other IPMO staff, the meeting delved into strategies for advancing the shared prosperity agenda championed by the Ekiti State Governor Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.
The SSAs, namely Hon Oluwafemi Olarewaju (North), Hon Kehinde Boluwade (South), and Hon Lanre Fasuan (Central), were formally introduced to IPMO’s operations, where they actively contributed ideas for optimizing office functions.

Crucial discussions centered on ensuring unity between political appointees and civil servants to form a formidable monitoring team, ensuring effective oversight of capital projects across the State and LG/LCDAs. Additionally, the unveiling of recently procured technological monitoring equipment further signified IPMO’s commitment to enhancing efficiency.
It was also unanimously agreed that regular meetings would serve as a vital review mechanism to assess and refine monitoring strategies, signaling a proactive approach to achieving IPMO’s objectives.
