A member of the House of Representatives, Rep. Kafilat Ogbara, has urged Nigerians to rally behind President Bola Tinubu’s administration in its quest to revitalize the economy.
Speaking at a Constituency Town Hall Meeting in Lagos, Ogbara (APC– Kosofe) emphasized Tinubu’s political will and capacity to address national challenges, expressing confidence in the administration’s ongoing reforms.
Ogbara highlighted Tinubu’s commitment to Nigeria’s transformation and reassured citizens that the administration’s promises would be fulfilled.
She urged patience and perseverance, assuring citizens of imminent improvements once Tinubu’s first budget is fully implemented.
The lawmaker also reiterated her dedication to alleviating suffering in the constituency, particularly through empowerment programs for women, youths, and people with disabilities.
Highlighting her achievements, Ogbara mentioned various legislative motions and bills aimed at enhancing the welfare of constituents, including initiatives addressing healthcare, education, and infrastructure.
Additionally, Ogbara outlined her efforts in distributing palliatives, empowering small businesses, and supporting vulnerable groups within the constituency.
Lagos State APC Chairman, Mr. Cornelius Ojelabi, commended Ogbara’s performance and urged continued engagement with constituents.
Ojelabi expressed optimism about overcoming economic challenges, urging religious leaders and Nigerians to pray for the success of Tinubu’s administration and a brighter future.
He also highlighted Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s efforts in empowering the people of Lagos State amidst economic difficulties.
The event, attended by various stakeholders, emphasized the collective commitment to supporting President Tinubu’s vision for a prosperous Nigeria.
