Ekiti State Governor Launches Clean-Up Campaign with Waste Management Initiative

In a resolute move to uphold cleanliness and environmental stewardship in Ekiti State, Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji has embarked on a decisive campaign to enhance waste management practices across the state.

EKITI STATE GOVERNOR MR BIODUN ABAYOMI OYEBANJI                          Governor Oyebanji on Tuesday personally inspected disposal trucks and Dino bins at the premises of the Waste Management Board in Ado Ekiti. These essential tools are set to be deployed to boost waste management efforts, commencing with the state capital.

Accompanied by Commissioner for Environment, Chief Tosin Aluko-Ajisafe, and the Director-General of Waste Management Authority, Sunkanmi Onipede, Governor Oyebanji meticulously assessed the facilities at the center, signaling the commencement of the battle against dirt.

With a firm commitment to fostering a safe and clean environment, Governor Oyebanji emphasized the collective responsibility of citizens in maintaining cleanliness.

By spearheading the provision of necessary tools, facilities, materials, and personnel, Governor Oyebanji has taken a proactive stance in leading the charge towards a cleaner Ekiti.
