In an overwhelming display of commitment to the welfare of Ekiti State residents, Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s latest initiative, “Ojuse BAO… AJOSE Wa ni,” received resounding approval from hundreds of Ekiti residents.
The monthly empowerment program, unveiled on Monday, was lauded by petty traders, the elderly, and the vulnerable populations who unanimously commended the governor’s genuine concern for their well-being.
Cash sums ranging from five to ten thousand naira were distributed during the event, providing a boost for petty traders to restock and expand their businesses.
The elderly were not left out, receiving both monetary assistance and essential foodstuffs, ensuring a joyful yuletide season for those in need.
Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Governor’s office, Mrs. Sola Abe, highlighted the broader objective of the initiative beyond the monthly program. It aims to address various challenges faced by residents, including school fees, financial assistance, health support, and more. She reiterated the governor’s steadfast commitment to fulfilling campaign promises that guarantee a better life for all residents.
Undeterred by biases or sentiments, Mrs. Abe assured the community that the monthly program will continue its mission of inclusivity. The inaugural communities visited, including Oye, Ilupeju, Ire, Ode, and Omuo Ekiti, experienced the positive impact of Ojuse BAO’s outreach.

Over the next week, the program, under the guidance of Mrs. Sola Abe, will traverse various communities, spreading the spirit of the Yuletide season and ensuring that no one is left behind in the pursuit of the governor’s prosperity for all agenda.
