Welfare Warrior: Ekiti Governor Oyebanji Praised for Sustained Pension Payouts Despite Economic Storms

In a commendation laden with gratitude, Hon Olufemi Aduloju, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Special Duties, extolled the Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, for his unwavering commitment to the consistent payment of gratuity and pensions for retired civil servants in the state.

Aduloju lauded the governor’s quarterly exercise, emphasizing that it serves as a resounding testament to Oyebanji’s dedication to the welfare of the state’s senior citizens.

Speaking with Jiroltv in Ado Ekiti on Monday, Aduloju stressed the governor’s remarkable passion, highlighting that despite prevailing economic challenges nationwide due to subsidy removal, Oyebanji remains steadfast in prioritizing the wellbeing of retirees. Aduloju asserted that the governor’s commitment has defied pessimistic predictions, showcasing a remarkable resilience in the face of adversities.

Emphasizing the transformative impact since Governor Oyebanji assumed office, Aduloju cited the Independent Power Project (IPP) as a pivotal achievement, marking a significant turnaround for the state. He assured that efforts to enhance the living standards of the elderly in the state would persist, attributing the accomplishments to the governor’s dedicated and well-connected team.

 

As he congratulated the retirees for witnessing another day, Aduloju urged them to utilize their pensions judiciously for productive ventures. Furthermore, he rallied support for Governor Oyebanji’s administration, urging citizens to contribute actively to achieving the state’s “Prosperity for All” objective.

Recall that the governor, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji paid #650 million naira in cheques to retires in the state, local governments and primary school teachers who are civil servants.
