Divine Harmony Unleashed: Sophia Ajayi Region Unveils Inaugural Regional Choir

In a jubilation of celestial harmony, the Christ Apostolic Church, Sophia Ajayi Region , marked a historic moment with the inauguration of its first-ever Regional Choir.

The event, titled “Admonishing One Another in Psalms and Hymns, Col 3:16,” resonated within the walls of the regional headquarters at Christ Apostolic Church Ogba Alaafia, Ijigbo, Ado Ekiti.

The ceremony, graced by the Regional Superintendent, Pastor S.I Jayeoba, standing as the representative of the President of Christ Apostolic Church in Nigeria and Overseas, drew a congregation of clergy members, Superintendents of District Coordinating Councils (DCC) from across Ekiti State, pastors, evangelists, and music enthusiasts.

Mr.Segun Adebayo, the Public Relations Officer, discribed the program as enchanting with hymns resonating from the Regional Choir and Orchestra.

The zenith of the evening witnessed the formal inauguration of the Regional Choir Executive members, along with the Patron and Patroness.

In his sermon, the Regional Superintendent explained the transformative power of music in summoning the manifestation of the divine. Expressing concern about the predominant focus on crusades and prayers, Pastor S.I Jayeoba, representing Christ Apostolic Church President, Pastor S.O Oladele, urged the newly appointed Regional Officers to discharge their duties with divine anointing and operational efficiency.

The newly appointed executive members includes:

– Elder Gbenga Agbeti (Choirmaster)

– Pastor Idowu Akeredolu (Asst Choirmaster-Training)

– Dr. Mrs Toyin Adaramoye (Secretary)

– Bro Segun Omolewa (Treasurer)

– Evng Tosin Ogundele (Prayer Coordinator)

– Bro Jonathan Olofinlade (Band/Orchestra Leader)

– Lady Evng. Dolapo Oke (Choir Welfare II)

– Elder Gbenga Akingbade (Ex Officio), among others.

Elder Gbenga Agbeti, the newly appointed Regional Choirmaster, conveyed heartfelt appreciation for the success of the inaugural event and extended gratitude to all contributors, attendees, and those who offered prayers.
