Unknown Arsonists Torch Factory, Sparks Unified Plea to Governor Oyebanji for Assistance
In a devastating turn of events, unknown arsonists have reduced the block making factory owned by Mr. Tope Osanyindola, affectionately known as Guardian, to ashes along Owo road, Emure Ekiti. The heart-wrenching incident left Mr. Osanyindola in tears as he recounted the midnight call he received last Thursday, notifying him that his factory was engulfed in flames.
The arsonists employed truck tires as their fiery instruments to set ablaze Mr. Osanyindola’s Block Molley Machine, a truck, a large generator, 700 pallets, 5 water drums, and various equipment, collectively valued at millions of naira. This appalling act has not only resulted in the loss of property but also jeopardized the livelihood of Mr. Osanyindola.
In a plea to the Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, and well-off individuals, Mr. Osanyindola beseeched for assistance, emphasizing that his factory was his sole means of livelihood. The community of sympathizers at the scene, including the Chairman of Emure Local Government, Mr. Adu Joseph, and the Elemure in council, expressed their outrage at the wanton destruction and urged security agencies to swiftly identify and apprehend the arsonists.
Furthermore, the community appealed to the state government to extend its support to Mr. Osanyindola to aid him in rebuilding his life and livelihood from the ashes of this tragic incident. The call for assistance echoes throughout Emure Ekiti as it comes together to rally behind one of its own during this difficult time.
