Governor Oyebanji’s Initiative Transforms Lives: Over 35 Vulnerable Residents Find Hope in Monthly Assistance Program

In a heartwarming development, Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s transformative assistance program has already impacted lives of more than 35 residents in the state.

This program, designed to alleviate the suffering of the vulnerable, aligns seamlessly with his visionary “Prosperity for All” mantra. These remarkable results stem from a monthly initiative dedicated to improving the lives of those who need it most.

THE BENEFICIARIES IN AN APPRECIATIVE MOOD

The beneficiaries of this inspiring program were carefully selected from a pool of individuals who had submitted their requests between April and June.

Mrs. Sola Abe, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Government House and the driving force behind the execution of this program, has reassured others of their inclusion in the upcoming batch of beneficiaries.

She explained that the program’s primary objective is to bolster the state’s economy and ensure that no one is left behind.

 

Mrs. Abe, emphasizing the non-partisan nature of the program explained that beneficiaries who have challenges with their school fees receive financial aid through their portal IDs.

Prior to offering assistance, the program involves a meticulous verification process for artisans and traders, even requiring tax clearance. This stringent approach ensures that the allocated funds are utilized judiciously.

The current batch of beneficiaries, spanning from March to June, has exemplified the program’s commitment to supporting economic growth in the state. Notable individuals, such as Mr. Fatai Akanbi Ogunsakin, who battles elephantiasis, is being empowered in his shoe-making business. Similarly, Mrs. Adeyemi Tope, a physically challenged blind woman from Ijero Ekiti, sought assistance for her business, reflecting the program’s commitment to inclusivity. Moreover, students like Osanyintoba Mathew, facing challenges with school fees, have found support through Governor Oyebanji’s program.
