Successful Test Run of Ekiti’s IPP Electric Facility Lights Up Ado Ekiti

In a significant milestone, Ekiti State’s Independent Power Producer (IPP) electric power generation facility has conducted a successful test run on Tuesday.

This pivotal development signifies a considerable leap forward for the state’s power infrastructure.

Government officials and personnel from the Ekiti State Secretariat and the House of Assembly are some of the immediate beneficiaries of the test.

They were tasked with activating and running every available electric equipment, including lights, air-conditioners, refrigerators, and pumps.

This comprehensive testing approach aimed to maximize the load placed on the two generators.

The success of this test run marks a significant stride in Ekiti’s efforts to enhance its electric power generation capabilities.
