Grace for Impact: NGO’s Free Eye Surgeries Restore Sight to Beneficiaries in Ekiti

The non-governmental organization, Grace for Impact, has demonstrated its commitment to humanitarian efforts by offering free eye surgeries to help restore vision to those in need. The 2023 free medical outreach, themed “Caring Touch,” brought essential medical services to hundreds of beneficiaries in Ayetoro Ekiti, located in the Ido Osi local government area of the state.

The 2023 Grace for Impact free medical outreach, hosted at the Seventh-day Adventist Church Health Center in Ayetoro Ekiti, featured a range of services aimed at improving the health and well-being of the community. This included free eye surgeries, medical screenings, eye examinations, blood pressure tests, distribution of reading glasses, and free medications.

Beneficiaries from Ayetoro Ekiti and neighboring communities attended the event to take advantage of these critical medical services.

Grace for Impact’s Chairman, Mr. Dapo Oriola, and Trustee Mrs. Tola Elewa, along with other officials, emphasized that the organization’s mission is to provide access to high-quality healthcare, education, and capacity development.

Their primary goal is to ensure that people have access to quality healthcare and education, recognizing that these are essential in breaking the cycle of poverty. Some beneficiaries, who previously struggled with vision problems, expressed their heartfelt appreciation for Grace for Impact’s free medical outreach, as it has significantly improved their overall health and well-being.
