The Special Adviser Media and Strategy and Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Yinka Oyebode, has reassured journalists in the state of the government’s unwavering support in prioritizing their welfare and creating a conducive environment for their professional practice.
Mr. Oyebode delivered this commitment on Tuesday in Ado Ekiti during a meeting with members of the online chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ). The discussion took place during a courtesy visit to his office.
The media strategist elaborated that Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji had consistently demonstrated his dedication to this promise. Recent resolutions from media parleys with the Governor serve as testimony to the commitment to prioritize journalists’ welfare. Notably, the government has also undertaken infrastructural renovations at various NUJ chapels in the state.
