Newly promoted NWFL-Premiership side, Ekiti Queens FC, has arrived in the Federal Capital Territory to participate in the highly anticipated 2023 Sheroes Cup preseason tournament. The team’s decision to join the tournament is part of their comprehensive preparation strategy for the upcoming 2023 NWFL-Premiership season, allowing them to familiarize themselves with other Premiership teams.
The tournament will feature two groups, organized to accommodate the significant number of participating teams. Each group will engage in a series of matches, providing valuable game time and preparation for the new league season. In total, each team will play a minimum of 5 games, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semi-finals, followed by the third-place match and the final.
