Gov.Oyebanji Hails Retired Head of Service Barrister Dele Agbede as a Distinguished Public Servant. 

In a touching ceremony held at the Christ Apostolic Church’s Oke-Ibukun zonal Headquarters in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State Governor, His Excellency Abiodun Abayomi Oyebanji, showered accolades upon the recently retired Head of Service, Barrister Bamidele Agbede.

Governor Oyebanji praised Agbede as an unwavering and reliable public servant, and his words resonated deeply with the attendees of the event.

The governor’s heartfelt tribute to Agbede was infused with genuine emotion as he recounted their enduring friendship and their shared journey in the realm of public service.

He highlighted Agbede’s unwavering loyalty and dedication to his public service responsibilities, lauding him as a paragon of reliability.

The Retirement Thanksgiving Service held a special place in the governor’s heart as he expressed his joy in participating in an event that celebrated Agbede’s distinguished service and recognized him as an esteemed ambassador of the Christ Apostolic Church’s Oke-Ibukun congregation.

Governor Oyebanji went the extra mile by pledging unwavering support, not only to the church but also to Agbede in any future endeavors closely aligned with its mission. His passionate conviction was that endeavors undertaken with steadfast faith in God would inevitably yield abundant rewards, drawing from his personal experience as a recipient of divine grace.

During the service, the Blessed Zonal Superintendent, Pastor Z. Olarewaju, delivered a sermon that deeply resonated with the congregation. Pastor Olarewaju urged all present to approach their daily work with diligence and a spirit of helpfulness towards others, citing a biblical passage from Luke chapter 10 verse 25 to illustrate the importance of remembering those who extended a helping hand during times of adversity and those who influenced their life journeys with compassion.

Barrister Bamidele Agbede, the focal point of this remarkable gathering, exuded a sense of fulfillment and gratitude to God for his unique life journey. He reflected on his remarkable path, which commenced as an INEC officer and eventually led him to rise through the ranks to become the Head of Service in Ekiti State. Agbede attributed his success and career trajectory to the unending grace of God.

 

The former Head of Service extended his heartfelt gratitude to Governor Oyebanji for creating an enabling environment that had contributed to his professional achievements. He also commended the leadership of the public service and expressed his gratitude to the entire Ekiti State workforce for their steadfast support during his tenure in the Civil Service.

This illustrious event attracted dignitaries not only from Ekiti State but also from distant regions. Following the heartwarming ceremony, attendees enjoyed a lavish feast at the renowned Damlek Event Centre, culminating in the celebration of Barrister Bamidele Agbede’s distinguished career and contributions to Ekiti State’s Public Service as a devoted civil servant and member of the Christ Apostolic Church’s Oke-Ibukun congregation.
