Ekiti Ex-Officials Voice Confidence in Governor Oyebanji’s Dedication.

In a resounding show of support, the Association of former 16 secretaries and 64 supervisors who served between 2017 and 2018 have enthusiastically endorsed Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s administration, commending his unwavering commitment to the welfare of Ekiti Kete.

During a solidarity visit to the governor’s office in Ado Ekiti, Mr. Olukunle Oni and Mr. Olu Olaribiwa, representatives of the Supervisors and secretaries hailed Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s remarkable accomplishments in less than a year in office.

Describing him as a true democrat who empathizes with the people’s struggles, the group pledged their allegiance to Governor Oyebanji, believing that he comprehends the challenges faced by Ekiti citizens and is actively working to alleviate their hardships.

 

Nevertheless, the group also made an impassioned plea for the governor’s assistance in resolving their outstanding unpaid allowances and emoluments, which have been pending since their tenure under former Governor Ayodele Fayose between 2017-2018.

 

During the interview, Mr. Olu Olaribiwa disclosed that the group had already twice written to the government, expressing hope that Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji would consider their request and facilitate the payment of their long-overdue allowances.

 

In unison, the former officials assured Governor Oyebanji of their unwavering support, recognizing his genuine intentions to enhance the lives of the people in the state.
