Reacting to the recent trends on the social media on the ongoing 2023 National Youth Games in Asaba the sports director of the national youth council of Nigeria NYCN EKITI state chapter,Comrade Owoseni Morakinyo through it’s Chiarman Comrade Segun Bankole says the Ekiti State Governor Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji has recorded a feat in the history of the state since he assumed office.
In an extraordinary milestone for Ekiti State’s sports landscape, the Ekiti Sport Council has received a historic financial boost of 20 million Naira.
In an interview with jiroltv in Ado Ekiti while Speaking on behalf of the entire youth of Ekiti, the NYCN Sports Director Comrade Owoseni Bamiyo Morakinyo expressed profound appreciation for this remarkable gesture by the esteemed Governor.
This unprecedented support,Owoseni said signifies a pivotal moment, highlighting the government’s unwavering commitment to ensuring the Sports Council’s success, similarly laying the foundation for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness in their performance at upcoming events, a development that undoubtedly fills the people of Ekiti with pride.
The Sports Director emphasized that the government’s dedication to uplifting Ekiti’s youth remains resolute. He said Governor Biodun Oyebanji, has not only demonstrated exemplary leadership but has also actively involved young people in his administration, providing them with a platform to contribute to the state’s progress.

All TeamEkiti representatives in table tennis have qualified to the next round.
Kolade Bright (Ekiti) defeated her counterpart from Abia 7-2, 4-7, 7-3.
Okaraga Idowu also won her match in the female category and Elias Akeem maintained the winning spirit by defeating his opponent from Ebonyi 7-4, 5-7, 7-1 in the male category.
