Ekiti State Government Warns Public Against Fraudulent Palliative Fund Advertisements.

Commissioner for information Hon.Taiwo Olatunbosun said government’s attention has been drawn to reports that individuals with malicious intent are posing as state agents and posting online advertisements soliciting applications for the N5 billion Federal Government palliative funds.

In a firm statement, the Ekiti State Government categorically distances itself from these unauthorized online ads and any other forms of communication that claim to offer access to the palliative funds.

 

The government urges the citizens of Ekiti State to exercise caution and disregard these deceitful messages that are falsely attributed to the state’s authorities.

 

The general public is reminded that official announcements and communications from the Ekiti State Government are channeled through authorized platforms.

 

Residents are encouraged to seek clarity and make inquiries by reaching out to the Office of the State Commissioner for Information, whose official contact details can be used for verification.

 

This cautionary advisory comes as the state takes measures to protect its citizens from falling victim to fraudulent schemes.

 

He said the Ekiti State Government, under the leadership of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, remains committed to ensuring accurate information dissemination and safeguarding the welfare of its residents.
