In a commendation laden with praise, Hon. Olufemi Aduloju, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, extolled the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for orchestrating a vital lifeline in the form of palliatives.

These measures have been introduced to alleviate the repercussions of the recent removal of petroleum subsidies.

Speaking exclusively to jiroltv in Ado Ekiti, Aduloju underscored the administration’s dedication to the welfare of Nigerians. He expressed optimism that the current challenges would ultimately yield to brighter days under President Tinubu’s visionary leadership.

While addressing concerns raised about the federal government’s allocation of responsibilities to state governors for palliative distribution, Aduloju passionately affirmed that Governor Oyebanji of Ekiti State had not only embraced this task but had executed it with remarkable efficacy.

He positioned Governor Oyebanji as a paragon of prudently managed public assistance, setting an exemplary precedent for his peers across the nation.

Aduloju highlighted the meticulous distribution orchestrated by Governor Oyebanji. This egalitarian approach encompassed every facet of the economy, transcending partisan interests and affiliations.

The Senior Special Assistant shared that the governor established a committee comprised of government officials and labor union representatives, led by Commissioner for Finance, Mr. Akin Oyebode.

This committee, composed of key stakeholders including NUT, NJC, and LABOUR, was charged with developing strategies to ensure the equitable dissemination of the palliatives.

Furthermore, Aduloju underscored the governor’s commitment to inclusivity, revealing that individuals from diverse political spectrums were recipients of the aid. Regardless of their political affiliation, citizens were beneficiaries of the 3,000 bags of rice allocated to the state, along with the collaborative agreements brokered between the government and labor unions.

While urging the populace to maintain their faith in President Tinubu’s administration, Aduloju implored citizens not to waver in their trust.

With a resolute tone, he reaffirmed that the administration’s altruistic intentions were steadfast, aimed at the betterment of all strata of society.
