In an eagerly awaited event, Efon Alaaye indigenes from around the world are preparing to converge on Saturday, 26th August 2023, to inaugurate the first tranche of the Efonw Alaaye Strategic Development Fund, valued at one billion naira.
The momentous occasion will mark the grand finale of the week-long Efon Alaaye Day 2023 celebrations, taking place at the esteemed CAC Grammar School grounds in Efon Alaaye.
A statement released by the President General of the Efon Alaaye Development League, Mr. Olabode Fagbemiro, reveals that the distinguished guest of honor will be Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji. Additionally, in attendance will be the esteemed royal father, Alaaye, Oba Dr. Emmanuel Aladejare, and the esteemed guest speaker, Araba of Osogbo, Chief Ifayemi Elebuibon.
The week-long festivities will encompass an array of engaging events, including an intellectual banquet, cultural exhibition, medical outreach programs, a captivating beauty pageant, and exciting sports activities.
