EKITI GOVERNOR, OYEBANJI, SUPPORTS LOCAL ARTISANS .

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, has once again demonstrated his commitment to the shared prosperity for all mantra and the promotion of a no more capital flight policy. The governor recently took delivery of flexible banners, a contract awarded to Ekiti printers.

Speaking on Friday in Ado Ekiti with jiroltv , Mrs. Mary Oso Omotoso, the senior special assistant to the governor on community communications, showcased the flexible banners and explained that this move highlights the administration’s dedication to empowering qualified artisans and producers within the state. By supporting local businesses, Governor Oyebanji aims to keep Ekiti money within Ekiti, creating more job opportunities for the people and fostering sustainable development across all sectors of the economy.

Mrs. Oso Omotoso emphasized that the governor had already stated, during the commissioning of the council of obas chamber, that a commission would be established to ensure that contracts remain in Ekiti and a majority of the workforce is sourced from the state. This serves as a testament to the administration’s genuine commitment to the welfare of all Ekiti residents.

 

The distribution of flexible banners to all local government areas and LCDAs is part of the governor’s ongoing efforts to support local artisans and promote their businesses. The joy and satisfaction expressed by the printers responsible for delivering the banners indicate their appreciation for Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s directive, which mandates all government ministries, departments, and agencies to patronize Ekiti artisans and businesses.

 

It is worth noting that the governor has recently extended his support to various sectors through empowering initiatives. These include the procurement of 39 official vehicles for heads of local government administration, HLAs, also official vehicles for education secretaries, as well as the purchase of rams for the Muslim Ile-ya celebration by local sellers and the production of bed bunks for three special schools in the state, courtesy of the welders association in Ekiti.

 

These actions underscore Governor Oyebanji’s commitment to uplifting the state’s economy and fostering prosperity for all.
