ADULOJU MARKS SECOND YEAR THANKSGIVING FOR SURVIVING ACCIDENT.
The senior special Assistant to Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji on special duties, Hon. Olufemi Aduloju, marked the second anniversary of his survival from a life-threatening accident with a thanksgiving mass. The accident occurred two years ago while he was on duty.
The thanksgiving mass took place at the Saint Patrick cathedral church in Old Garage, Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State. Rev. Father Bimbola Joseph officiated the service, which saw the presence of family, friends, and well-wishers.
During his homily, Rev. Father Joseph emphasized the importance of a grateful heart, which demonstrates sole dependence on God’s abilities to protect, safeguard, and bless individuals. He encouraged everyone to cultivate the habit of giving thanks to God in all situations, especially when saved from life-threatening circumstances, as in Hon. Aduloju’s case.
In a brief address, Hon. Aduloju expressed his profound gratitude to God for sparing his life. He acknowledged that if it were not for God’s favor, he would not have survived the accident.
Hon. Aduloju also extended his gratitude to his family members and friends for their unwavering support during the challenging times of his recovery. He offered prayers for blessings upon them.
Moreover, he expressed his heartfelt appreciation to Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for both the moral and financial support he received. He prayed for God’s blessings upon the governor, seeking His favor in all aspects of his life.
The thanksgiving mass also coincided with the celebration of Saint James’s day and concluded with a prayer of grace.
