Chief executive officer WOWBII interactive technology company Mr. Olayomi Gbolahan has expressed readiness to partner the Ekiti State government to digitalize the teaching and learning process so that student in the state can fit into the digital world of information technology ICT.
Mr Gbolahan who stated this on Friday in Ado Ekiti after an interractive session with the Ekiti State Governor Mr Biodun Oyebanji described him as a proactive leader with foresight,one who does not only identify challenges but thinks out of the box to find workable and lasting solutions,this he said is reflected in one of his 6 point agenda which is the Human capital development where lies the digital innovation.
The WOWBII chief executive, said the preference given to the Ekiti knowledge zone is another commendable legacy project which truly explains Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s administration genuine passion to be digitally compliant.
Mr. Gbolahan explained that as an African brand focused on providing simple, yet durable products, WOWBII aims to be the preferred interactive hardware platform supplier on the continent and is ready to work with the Ekiti State government to compliment the already laid foundation.
Mr. Gbolahan said the interactive touchscreens has proved to be efficient, cost effective and a life changer that has removed barriers which hinder access to quality education experience hence it is ready to bridge the gap .
He said the idea of digitizing education would not only allow the students to compete favourably with their counterparts in the world in terms of digital innovation knowledge but become a super student.
While presenting a sample of the interactive touchscreens to the governor, Mr Gbolahant explained that as the fountain of knowledge state it was time to go digital and looks forward to a robust relationship with the government of the state.
