Aduloju: Ekiti State government is committed to hospitality business.
Senior Special Assistant to the governor on special duties Hon. Femi Aduloju says the governor Biodun Oyebanji administration is committed to improving the economic viability of the state through workable and human friendly policies.
Hon.Aduloju made the statement on Tuesday during a meeting he held with the executives of the Hoteliers Association in his office led by Chief Michael Osaloni.
The senior special Assistant on special duties to the governor explained that governor Oyebanji is a man of the people who does not discriminate but is keen at doing what is right for the good of the state.
He assured the association of hoteliers in the state thst the governor recognizes their contribution to sustaining the security of the state by keeping to best practices in the hotel business as well as their contribution to the internally generated revenge IGR of the state.
He however urged them that as co-partners in the security sector all hands must be on deck to make sure the tempo is maintained and report any lodger or guest who’s action is suspecious to the appropriate quarters.
He maintained that the governor Biodun Oyebanji’s administration is committed to their welfare and seek out ways to better their working conditions and environment for efficiency.
Responding, President of the association Chief Michael Osaloni who thanked the senior special Assistant for conveying the meeting and by extension extolled the virtues of governor Biodun Oyebanji on the giant strides recorded since he became governor of the state.
He specifically commended the governor on his recent drive to keep Ekiti money in Ekiti by patronizing local businesses within the the state like the motor dealers,ram dealer association and artisans in the state.
Chief Osaloni who amongst other requests pleaded an audience with the governor explained that the request became imparative as the association seems to have been neglected.
He also asked government to help the association by resolving the multiple taxation challenge they face amongst other requests.
Other executives of the holeliers association include the vice president Elder Femi Ala, Treasure Mrs. Oladipupo Femi, Elder Chief Abologunrin,State Secretary Akin Abimbola and member Hon. Morakinyo Adebayo.
