2023 FIFAWW/Cup: Canada Unveils Final Squad To Face Super Falcons After 2-weeks of intensive training.
After 2-weeks of intensive training camp, Canada Women’s national team has unveiled their final squad for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
The Olympic champion coach Bev Priestman has been in a closed camp in exercise in Australia for the past 2 weeks and they also engaged in a series of warm-up games.
The coach finally announced the final roster on Sunday evening and the biggest inclusion was Christian Sinclair who will be making her 6th appearance in the World Cup.
The biggest omission was Jade Rose who was ruled out of the competition earlier in the day due to injury.
Canada will face Nigeria’s Super Falcons in the opening group game on the 21st of July.
