Interested teams willing to participate in Ekiti Obas Cup Season 2 now have the privilege to do so this week as organizers say collection of registration forms has been extended by a week.

The Ekiti Obas Cup is an Under 18 Youth Soccer Championship involving teams from various communities representing royal fathers across the state.
Meanwhile, the trophy tour to palaces of selected royal fathers begins today.
The royal fathers whose palaces would be visited include the palaces of the Onisan,in isan Ekiti, Ewi of Ado Ekiti, Apeju, Alawe in ilawe Ekiti, Alara, Ajero and Ogoga of Ikere Ekiti.
Prominent sons and daughters of the various towns are expected to galvanize support for their beloved royal fathers who have been nominated as Pillars of Support for Ekiti Obas Cup.
The Ekiti Obas Cup Under 18 which began last year and endorsed by the Chief Olu Oloworemo led Ekiti State Football Association is organized by De Gogetter Multi Links, an Ekiti based Sports promoting organization.
The trophy that will be won by the eventual champions of this year’s Ekiti Obas Cup and the MVP Award were donated by Johnny Sports Merchants.
The trophy was dedicated to Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, while the MVP award is dedicated to the wife of the governor, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji.
