Ekiti state Football Association meets Governor Biodun Oyebanji on sports development in the state.

 

Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji has disclosed plans by his administration to provide state of the art facilities for sports to thrive in the state.

The governor stated that substantial progress has been made to erect a modern indoor sports hall in the state, while he has also ordered a comprehensive assessment of all the government owned stadia to determine the level of renovation required.

Oyebanji made these revelations when he received in audience the executive Members of Ekiti State Football Association led by its Chairman, Chief Oluwole Oloworemo.

While charging for the advancement of women in sports, the The governor also made a commitment for improved welfare for sports personnels in Ekiti.

During the meeting, Chief Olu Oloworemo highlighted the ongoing initiatives undertaken by the Ekiti State Football Association to promote and develop football within the state. He shared the association’s vision for the future and emphasized the importance of collaboration between the government and sports organizations to nurture talent and enhance the state’s sporting landscape.
