As Muslim faithful across Ekiti State joined their counterparts worldwide to celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, the administration of Governor Biodun Oyebanji has come in for high praise, with a prominent political figure- Engineer Olaoluwa Dawodu highlighting the Governor’s unwavering commitment to religious tolerance and inclusive governance. The recognition comes on the heels of a landmark achievement where no fewer than 50 Muslims have been appointed into strategic positions within the state government, a development being hailed as a new chapter of fairness and equity in the state’s political history.
Engineer Olaoluwa Dawodu, a frontline aspirant for the House of Representatives seat representing Ekiti North Federal Constituency I, extended warm felicitations to the Muslim community, commending their resilience and devotion throughout the holy month of Ramadan. In his goodwill message, he noted that Governor Oyebanji’s administration has demonstrated an uncommon commitment to fairness, ensuring that all religious groups are given a genuine sense of belonging.
