Former Ekiti Governor Kayode Fayemi Decries Tragic Killings of Ekiti Monarchs

Former Governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi, has strongly condemned the tragic killings of the revered traditional rulers, the Elesun of Esun Ekiti and Olumojo of Imojo Ekiti, which occurred on Monday.


Dr Fayemi expressed his heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Ekiti State, emphasizing the sorrow and grief felt by all in the wake of this regrettable incident.


Dr Fayemi lamented the surge in kidnapping activities witnessed across the country since the beginning of the new year, noting with concern the escalation of such heinous crimes even in Ekiti State, which has traditionally been known for its relative peace.
