Ekiti Ministry of Women Affairs Lauds Staff Excellence, Calls for Elevated Service Standards in 2024

The dedicated efforts of the Ekiti State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development staff in providing social welfare services over the past year received commendation from Commissioner Mrs. Peju Babafemi.

During the 2024 maiden meeting in Ado Ekiti, she urged the team to elevate their performance, aligning with Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s compassionate leadership.

Highlighting the pivotal role of the Ministry, Mrs. Babafemi emphasized the need for a heightened positive impact on issues concerning women, girls, children, and the vulnerable population across the state. She encouraged staff to passionately pursue the government agenda, assuring a commitment to prioritizing their welfare within available resources.

Mrs. Babafemi reiterated Governor Oyebanji’s achievements and the administration’s dedication to enhancing citizens’ quality of life. Expressing gratitude for staff support, she called for increased contributions in 2024, valuing each team member and pledging responsiveness to constructive suggestions for improved service delivery.

Two outstanding officers, Tolulope Ogunniyi from the Child Development Department and Ayodeji Ajayi from the Finance and Accounts Department, received cash awards for winning the 2024 Ekiti State Civil Service Intermediate andt Junior Cadre awards.

The Commissioner according to her director of press Mr Femi Bamisaye,praised their accomplishments, highlighting their positive impact on the Ministry.

Permanent Secretary Mrs. Tayo Olatilu encouraged staff to enhance diligence and collaboration, emphasizing the implementation of the Ministry’s work plan as a cohesive team. Responding to the commendation, awardee Tolulope Ogunniyi expressed gratitude and pledged continued dedication to their roles.
