Ekiti People from all walks of life have been urged to embrace peace for mutual progress and prosperity as the State under Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji led Administration celebrates its 28th Independence Anniversary.
A Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Engineer Kemisola Elebute-Halle made the call in a goodwill message on Tuesday.
Elebute who felicitated with President Bola Tinubu said despite the prevailing socioeconomic challenges, said there is hope for the country.
She also felicitated with Governor Oyebanji and the people of Ekiti on the 28th anniversary of the state’s creation.
“I also extend my congratulations to all patriotic Nigerians who have contributed to the journey that has led us to this day, and I send my best wishes to everyone, particularly the wonderful people of Ekiti State, as we celebrate.
“While it may appear that we face daunting challenges, I hold firm faith in the indomitable Nigerian spirit. This spirit will guide us in overcoming our current trials. I urge all of us to uphold peace for the mutual progress and prosperity of our dear State and Country,” She added.
