Governor Oyebanji Names Local Government Secretaries, Stresses Commitment to Grassroots Development

In a move aimed at bolstering local governance, Governor Biodun Oyebanji has appointed secretaries for the 16 local government councils and 22 local council development areas.

The announcement in a press release signed b his special adviser Media,Mr.Yinka Oyebode follows closely on the heels of the recent inauguration of council chairmen and vice-chairmen.

The newly appointed secretaries are scheduled for inauguration in their respective councils on Monday, January 15, 2024, marking another strategic step in the implementation of the governor’s vision for comprehensive grassroots development.

Governor Oyebanji, extending congratulations to the appointees, emphasized the significance of their roles in contributing to grassroots development. He urged them to view their appointments as opportunities to actively participate in the administration’s shared prosperity agenda.
