The Ekiti Computer Operators and Graphics Design Professional Association (ECOGDPA) has expressed their appreciation for the significant strides made by Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, in transforming the economic landscape of the state. They specifically lauded his commitment to supporting local artisans and producers, which aligns with the state’s goal of curbing capital flight.
During a recent visit to the office of the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Special Duties, Hon. Olufemi Aduloju, ECOGDPA, led by Chairman Mr. Falope Femi, described Governor Oyebanji’s actions as timely and essential for economic vitality.
In response, Hon. Olufemi Aduloju assured the association of Governor Oyebanji’s determination to collaborate with both the formal and informal sectors in the state, in pursuit of his “prosperity for all” agenda. He emphasized the importance of adhering to the law, while urging members to demonstrate diligence, trustworthiness, and professionalism in their work.
Mr. Falope, Chairman of ECOGDPA, highlighted the association’s skilled computer operators and certified technicians who can competently compete on a global scale. He underscored their status as dedicated taxpayers, law-abiding citizens, and eligible voters in the state who actively engage in youth seminars to deter them from negative influences.
Furthermore, Mr. Falope called for increased government inclusion and patronage. He specifically urged the government to involve their members in the production of government souvenirs and banners, capacity training programs, and inclusion in various government incentives. He also requested that members benefit from recent subsidy removal palliatives in the state.
On behalf of the association, Mr. Falope assured Governor Oyebanji of their unwavering support for his administration and pledged loyalty in the upcoming local government elections in the state. The partnership between the government and ECOGDPA stands as a testament to Ekiti State’s dedication to economic growth and the empowerment of local professionals.
