Commissioner for Transportation, Ajobiewe commends VIO officials for their commitment to job.

In an unanticipated move, the Commissioner for Transportation in Ekiti State, Hon. Kehinde Kolawole Ajobiewe, along with Mr. Isaac Abulola, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Transportation, undertook an impromptu visit to the Ekiti State Vehicle Inspection Office (VIO) headquarters situated at Adehun, along Iworoko Road in Ado Ekiti.

During the visit, Hon. Kehinde Kolawole Ajobiewe, the Commissioner for Transportation, expressed his commendation for the exceptional organization and unwavering commitment demonstrated by the personnel of the Ekiti Vehicle Inspection Office. The Commissioner, accompanied by Mr. Isaac Abulola, conducted this surprise visit with the intention of appraising the operational conditions of the VIO and its staff members.

The purpose was to ensure the agency’s capability to effectively and efficiently carry out its mandated responsibilities.

The reception accorded to the Commissioner and the Permanent Secretary was warm and enthusiastic, as the staff of the VIO, led by their State Director Engr. Ayegbusi, extended a hearty welcome. The visit provided an opportunity for the Commissioner and his delegation to acquaint themselves with various offices and department heads within the headquarters.

Engaging in meaningful discussions with the officials, Commissioner Hon. Kehinde Kolawole Ajobiewe expressed his gratitude for their diligent service to the state. He underlined the critical role they play in upholding road safety standards.
