ADULOJU HAILS GOVERNOR OYEBANJI’S SUBSIDY REMOVAL PALLATIVES.

The senior special Assistant to the Ekiti State Governor Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji on special duties, Hon Olufemi Aduloju has hailed the recent rollout of the subsidy removal pallatives by the governor describing it as apt and a sign his promise of a shared prosperity for all is not just a promise but a fact.

Aduloju while speaking with jiroltv in Ado Ekiti on Wednesday described the governor as a promise keeper and stunt grassroots individual who cares for the masses.

He explained that the release of the civil servants 2017 leave bonus late Wednesday, that is less than 12 hours after the approval of pallatives is not only unprecedented in the history of the state but a demonstration of his commitment to the pact he made with Ekiti people during his electioneering campaign promises.

He said his anticidents as someone who grew in the system has really come to manifestation that indeed the cap fits him as the governor of the state .

Aduloju however urged that this gesture of the governor should be reciprocated with more dedication to work and support for the governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s administration for the good of Ekiti Kete.

Recall that governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji on Wednesday rolled out pallatives for the state on the occasion of the removal of subsidy through a committee set up between the government and labour unions in the state.

The pallatives include the following:

• Payment of one year’s leave bonus for State and Local Government workers.

Payment of one month’s pension arrears for State and Local Government pensioners.

• Implementation of consequential adjustment for workers on GL. 14 to GL. 17 for State and Local Government workers.

• Implementation of 90 per cent CONHESS and 100 per cent Hazard Allowance for health workers at the Local Governments.

Implementation of salary parity for clinical staff of the Hospitals’ Management Board.

Implementation of financial benefits of 2020 and 2021 promotions for State and Local Government workers.

Immediate payment of one month subvention arrears to tertiary institutions.

. Provision of free shuttle buses for workers and students to ease transportation to/from work and school respectively.
