Ajoni Local Council Development Area LCDA, Ayedun Ekiti Chairman, Prince Micheal Ogungbemi (fcpa) has re-assured Ajoni community of improved standard of living through workable developmental projects.
Ogungbemi gave the assurance on Monday in Ado Ekiti during an interview with jiroltv crew while shooting an episode of Street implication .
The council Boss explained that sixteen months in office as a democratically elected leader in the community has been revealing and rewarding courtesy the Ekiti State Governor Mr Biodun Oyebanji who made sure funds were available to execute demanding projects in the community despite the paucity of funds.
Ogungbemi while speaking described governor Oyebanji as a leader who understands governance and makes sure no one is left behind .
He however stressed that as the chairman of the community he will continue to toe the path of the governor by making sure all funds are accounted for and judiciously utilized for the purpose it is meant for.
Prince Micheal Ogungbemi while giving his stewardship within the first sixteen months in office assured residents of Ajoni to continue with quality and human oriented representation devoid of sentiments, political colouration or any form of bias .
Some of his achievement since inauguration include erection of 7 borehole in the community to discourage waterborne diseases, recruitment of 63 local security operatives drawn from the community to man her boarders, construction of markets and luck up shops, empowerment programs for artisans across the community, construction of blocks of classrooms and scholarship for students.
Ogungbemi who assured residents that his team will continue to compliment the governor Biodun Oyebanji’s administration’s resolve on rural community development revealed that celebration of Ajoni cultural day and construction of Ajoni transnational park are some of his future plans to give the people dividends of democracy.
